Realization and properties of a silver diethyldithiocarbamate electrode

Abstract: Metal-complex electrode was studied of the aq. Ag(I) diethyldithiocarbamate-diethyldithiocarbamate anion type. Formal potential values were assessed and the slope of graphic dependence of potential on the logarithm of relative concn. was detd. for the Ag and Ag-diethyldithiocarbamate electrodes, resp., in DMSO, MeOH as well as in H2O (ionic strength of NaClO4 soln. being 0.1 mol dm-3). Ag(Et2dtc) complexing is obsd. Values of its stability const. in the stated media as well as the value of its soly. product in water are given.
