Abstract: Optical rotatory dispersion curves have been measured for 6-0-(4-0-methyl-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl)-D-galactose, 6-0-(β-D-glucuronopyranosyl)-D-galactose, 2-0-(β-D-glucuronopyranosyl)-D-mannose and their methyl ester methylglycosides. The relation between the Cotton effects found and the structure of investigated substances is discussed.
