Crystal chemistry of tellurium

Abstract: Considerations of published structures of TeO2, tellurites, and tellurates show that Te(IV) has the tendency to pyramidal 3- or (3 + 1)-coordination and Te(VI) an octahedral coordination where the octahedrals are interconnected by edges or corners.
