Abstract: New mono- and diacylhydrazobenzenes were prepd. from synthesis of chlorides of aliphatic acid chlorides and hydrazobenzenes in order to det. their analgetic effect. In that respect they are not so good as aminopyrine. The following PhNHN(COR)Ph were prepd. (R, m.p., and % yield given): Me, 160°, 87.6; Et, 145°, 87.5; Pr, 120-1°, 77; CH2Cl, 158° (decompn.), 69.2; CH2NEt2, 103°, 70.7. The following [PhN(COR)]2 were prepd. (same consts. given):Me, 105°, 31; Et, 88-9°, 47.2; Pr, 64-5°, 38.3.
