Reactions of Some Active Carbonyl Compounds with 4-Aryl-1,6-diamino-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarbonitrile Derivatives

Abstract: Synthesis of the corresponding 1-alkylidenaminopyridone, [1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridine, and pyrido[1,2-b][1,2,4]triazepine derivatives by condensation of some 4-aryl-1,6-diamino-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarbonitrile derivatives with ethyl acetoacetate, phenylacetic acid, N'-ethoxymethylenebenzohydrazide, acetaldehyde, acetone, aromatic aldehydes, acetophenone, and pentane-1,4-dione in different reaction conditions is described.
