Long-Termed Material Balance of Phosphorus in Aluminium Reduction Cells

Abstract: The content of phosphorus in input and output materials used in aluminium reduction cells of the Slovak producer Slovalco, a.s. was followed during a three-year period. On the basis of the obtained data the material balance of phosphorus in individual years was made in order to evaluate the trends in phosphorus content in the input and output materials and to understand the reasons of the observed trends.
