New Alkylated 0-(2-Sulfoethyl)cellulose and Its Properties

Abstract: New O-(2-sulfoethyl) derivatives of cellulose substituted with O-dodecyl chains have been synthesized and characterized by elemental and spectral analyses. The prepared derivatives exhibit significant surface-active properties, the emulsification efficiency, and foamability.
