The Use of General Exponential Function for the Deconvolution of Fused Chromatographic Peaks

Abstract: The Fletcher-Reeves method of minimization of sum-of-squares function and the general exponential function have been used for the deconvolution of the various types of fused chromatographic peaks. The two attempts of deconvolution are presented. Several typical deconvolutions on real GC and LC data are shown to demonstrate the power of the method.
