Abstract: The radionuclide X-ray fluorescence method has been shown to be an effective technique for multielement analysis of air samples. In the present paper the simultaneous determination of Fe, Zn, Pb, and Br in air samples originating from three cities (Prague, Bratislava, Trencin) is described. Used analytical system consisted of a radionuclide source 238Pu and Si-Li semiconductor detector connected to the multichannel analyzer.
