Amine oxides of some alkyl derivatives of oxazolidine, their surface-active and antimicrobial properties

Abstract: Corresponding amine oxides were prepared by the oxidation of 3-alkyl-, 2,3-dialkyl-, and 2,2,3-trialkyl-5-chloromethyloxazolidine using hydrogen peroxide. The structure of these compounds was confirmed by infrared and mass spectra. Surface-active properties and antimicrobial efficiency were also determined.
