Abstract: The influence of temperature, vanadium concentration, degree of solu­tion acidification, and reaction time on composition of the solid products arising from the systems LiV0₃—HN0₃—H₂0 and Mg(V0₃)₂—HN0₃—H₂0 was investigated. The compounds LiHV₆0₁₆ xH₂0 (x=5.5—6), MgV₆0₁₆ 9H₂0, and Mg(HV₆0₁₆)₂ * H₂0 (JC = 16—17) were prepared under defined conditions.
