Abstract: Reactions of substituted 4-(2-hydroxyethylamino)- and 4-(3-hydroxypropylamino)quinazoIines with phosphoric oxychloride or with concentrated hydrochloric acid under heating are described. New reaction intermediates and final imidazo- and pyrimido[l,2-c]quinazolines were characterized by infrared and ultraviolet absorption spectra.
