Molar conductivity of the system calcium nitrate-dimethyl sulfoxide-water

Abstract: Temp. and compn. dependence of molar cond. of the system contg. Cd(NO3)2, DMSO, and water were studied. Mole fractions of DMSO in the solvent y = nDMSO/(nDMSO + nH2O) were 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8. Mole fraction x of Ca salt in the system changed between 0.052 and 0.20. Temp. dependence of molar cond. was studied at 5°C;60°C and was fitted to the Vogel-Fulcher-Tamman equation. The isothermal dependence of cond. on salt concn. in the mixt. and on compn. of the solvent (H2O + DMSO) is discussed.
