Abstract: Glass-transition temps. (T.) were detd. in hydrated molten mixts. of the system calcium nitrate-calcium chloride-water with the ionic fraction of yCl = [Cl-]/([Cl-] + [NO3-]) = 0.4, in the compn. region of 5-23 mol % with respect to calcium salts. The equiv. cond. was measured at 293-353 K. A comparison with the system Ca(NO3)2-H2O showed that while the replacement of nitrate anions by those of chloride did not influence the glass-transition temp., the equiv. cond. decreased in systems with a higher salt content.
