Abstract: CNDO method in Del Bene and Jaffé modification was used for investiga­ tion of the electronic spectra of benzaldehyde, 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 3-hydroxybenzaldehyde, and 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde.
