Anisotropy of some polymer systems. II. Polyamide fibers (PAD-6f)

Abstract:  Infrared absorption spectroscopy was used to study the influence of different conditions of deformation on the orientation of ordered (crystalli­ne) and disordered "amorphous" regions of polyamide fibers. Absorption band at 963 cm^-1 corresponding to the vibration of — CONH— groups in a-monoclinic structure modification was chosen for evaluation of the factor of orientation of ordered regions. Absorption band at 1130 cm^-1 corre­sponding to symmetric vibrations — С — С — was used to study the orien­tation of disordered regions.
