Synthesis, proton magnetic resonance spectra, and biological activity of haloacylferrocenes

Abstract:  Friedel—Crafts acylation of ferrocene and cinnamoylferrocene with halogenated acyl chlorides has been carried out and the p.m.r. spectra of the products are discussed. Some of the described derivatives show interesting antibacterial activity.
