Study of the emission spectra excitation by medium voltage spark discharge. I. Selection of optimum pairs of spectral lines by the method of scatter diagrams

Abstract: The first part of the series of papers devoted to the study of spectrochemical properties of medium voltage spark discharge deals with the choice of the most suitable pairs of spectral lines of the studied elements of MgO matrix. The procedure is described for evaluation of scatter diagram parameters for large number of spectral line pairs obtained by changing the excitation conditions. The change of the excitation type is realized by varying the electrodes polarity and the number of ignitions.
