Preparation of selenic acid by ion exchanger. II

Abstract:  Selenic acid of high purity was prepared by means of ion exchanger from a solution of potassium and manganese(II) selenates. The solution of potassium selenate and selenic acid was obtained by oxidation of selenious acid with potassium permanganate. The manganese dioxide formed in the oxidation was converted with hydrogen peroxide in selenic acid medium into manganese(II) selenate.
