Calcium ammonium meta- and decavanadate

Abstract:  The double-exchange reaction of ammonium metavanadate with calcium nitrate yielded NH₄Ca(V0₃)₃ • 4H₂0 and (NH₄)₂Ca₂V₁₀0₂₈• 17H₂0. The compounds have been identified by means of their infrared absorption spectra measured in the region of 400—2000 cm^-1 as well as by comparison of the X-ray powder diffractograms. Their thermal decomposition was studied in the temperature range of 20 —300°C and 20—500°C by the methods of DTA and GTA.
