Abstract: The reactions rate of the solid dichlorotetrathioureanickel(II) complex with gaseous NH3 has been isothermally investigated. Conversion values are in agreement with the equation dα/dt = (k/t^1/2) (1 - α)^2/3. The value of the apparent activation energy E was -7.30 kcal mole^-1. The neg. value of the apparent activation energy and also the mechanism of the investigated reactions are discussed.
