Abstract: New methods for the sepn. of carrier-free radioactive prepns. from the bulk of the cyclotron target material and the methods for the isolation of carrier-free 22Na, 26Al, and 73As and 74As were developed. 22Na was prepd. from the Mg target in the alloy MA8 which was irradiated with d. Mg was activated and pptd. to form MgSO4 and removed from the water-acetone soln. 22Na was retained on the cation exchanger from which it was desorbed with 0.1N HCl. 26Al which was formed during the activation, was pptd. with NH3 as Al(OH)3, changed into sol. aluminate by NaOH, purified on the anion exchanger, sorbed on the cation exchanger, and desorbed with 2N HCl. Radioisotopes 73,74As were prepd. by irradiating Ge in the Cu-Ge alloy with d and by their pptn. with Fe(OH)3 at pH 3.5-4.0. The sepn. from Fe and the purification from Ge and 65Zn was accomplished by anion exchangers. These methods are suitable for the sepn. of the radioisotopes from the industrial targets in the amts. up to 100 g.
