Conditions of increased sensitivity of photographic spectral line registration

Abstract: After pre-exposure, the conditions for the increased sensitivity of the registration of the intensity of the spectral lines were studied. It was detd. that the error in the microphotometric detn. of the optical d. of the photographic material is not dependent on the abs. value of the measured density. The max. abs. exactness of the detn. of the radiation intensity by the photographic photometry is reached only at such a value of the density as corresponds to the inflection point on the curve, expressing the dependence of the density on the intensity.
