Laboratory apparatus for the absorption of hydrofluoric acid

Abstract: An app. was constructed to study the absorption of gaseous, humid HF in dil. alk. solns. or in water at 0 to 50°. Polyethylene was a suitable material of construction up to concns. 37% (by wt.) of HF.
