Abstract: By thermal (TA) and differential (DA) thermal analyses the exact compns. and temps. of characteristic points in phase diagrams of 2-component systems MgCl₂-NaCl, CaCl₂-NaCl, and MgCl₂-CaCl₂ were detd. CaCl₂-NaCl is a simple eutectic system and in MgCl₂-CaCl₂ system in the area of high CaCl₂ concn., solid solns. of MgCl₂ in CaCl₂ are formed. The exact limitation of satn. cannot be detd. by TA and DA because of the liquefaction.
