The estimation of potassium in gunpowder by sodium tetraphenylboron

Abstract: K was detd. in various types of gunpowder by pptn. with [(C₆H₅)₄B] Na as [(C₆H₅)₄B]K and this method was found to be simple and more rapid than the detn. as KClO₄.
