Arrangement of circulation of sulfur in viscose fibers

Abstract: The formation and losses of S compds. in the manuf. of viscose fibers is described. In waste gases the ratio of H₂S to CS₂ is 1:4-2:1. The losses of S are: 81.27% in waste gases derived from the acid part, 1.95% in waste waters, 0.2% in fiber, 1.58% unidentified, and only 15% is regenerated.
