Preparation and study of pesticidal efficacy of Äthinylestern and carbamates

Abstract: Esters and carbamates of 4,4,4-trichloro-l-butyne-3-ol and 3-methyl-l- -pentene-4-yne-3-ol were synthesized. The syntheses of carbamates were performed in the absence of catalysts and no formation of heterocyclic compounds was observed. The infra-red spectra of new substances were measured and interpreted. Changes in structure of these alcohols were investigated in relationship to the pesticide biological activity. The pesticide activity of the new substances cannot be regarded striking not even when based upon the selection tests.
