The Interaction of Surface of Diamond and Diamond-like Dielectrics with Ionic Melts

Abstract: Thermodynamic, corrosion, potentiometric, and voltammetric studies of the behaviour of dielectrics (namely, diamond and cubic BN) in halide, halide-oxide, and oxide melts have been carried out. It was found that electrochemical equilibrium and surface conductivity on dielectric-ionic melt interface appear as the result of redox processes on it.
