β-Resorcylidenethiosemicarbazone analytical reagent

Abstract: The behaviour of β -resorcylidenethiosemicarbazone has been investigated potentiometrically, spectrophotometrically, and polarographically. From the obtained results the respective pK values of dissociation constants have been determined and the reduction mechanism of the studied reagent is assumed. The polarographically obtained kinetic data have shown that the reagent decomposition is influenced by the hydrogen ion concentration
