The physical significance of the parachor

Abstract: The interpretation of the phys. significance of the parachor as a M vol. of the liquid at the unit surface tension (γ = 1) was discussed. This interpretation can be only verified if the surface tension can be expressed as a relative value, related to the referent status, and sufficiently distant from the crit. point.
