Water-Soluble Polysaccharides of Poplar (Populus alba L.) Callus Tissue Cell Wall

Abstract: Two water-soluble arabinose-rich polysaccharides have been isolated from the primary wall of poplar (Populus alba L.) callus culture cells. Their structures have been investigated using chemical methods and NMR spectroscopy. The general, structural features of the polysaccharides are discussed.
