Mechanochemical effects in vibrationally dispersed polymer mixtures

Abstract:  The interrelation between the mechanical actions and the kinetics of the mechanical destruction of hard polymers has been determined. It was shown that the kinetic peculiarities of the mechanical destruction of components of the hard-phase polymer—polymer dispersions are determined by their colloidochemical properties. Generalized curve of the dependence of the rate constant of the mechanical destruction of components on the velocity of the sound waves propagation in the polymer was determined, which enables the prediction of the regularities of this process in a wide interval of temperatures and compositions.
