Gas-liquid equilibriums in the system 1-hexene-benzene at 25°

Abstract: The data are correlated with the Redlich-Kister (1952) equation of the 4th order. The values detd. were: b = 0.1817, c = -0.0185, d = 0.0184, γ₁, γ₂ = f(x), and log γ₁/γ₂ = f(x). a, b, and c are consts. in the R.-K. equation; γ₁ and γ₁ are activity coeffs. of 1-hexene and benzene, resp.; and x is mole fraction in the liq. phase.
