Diameter of the dihydrophosphite anion (H₂PO₃^-) in aqueous solution of NaH₂PO₃ and KH₂PO₃ at 25°

Abstract: The diam. of the H₂PO₃^- anion was studied in aq. solns. of NaH₂PO₃ at concns. 10 to 80 mole H₂O/g. equiv. and of KH₂PO₃ at 12 to 80 mole H₂O/g. equiv. at 25°. Under these conditions, the diam. of H₂PO₃^- is 2.24 A.
