Nondestructive determination of indium in intermetallic fusions by neutron activation analysis with a Po + Be source

Abstract: The sample was activated with a Po + Be lab. neutron source of 7 c. activity with a flow of 1.4 × 10⁷ neutrons/cm.2 sec. for fast and 10³-10⁴ neutrons/cm.2 sec. for slow neutrons with a paraffin moderator. The analysis takes 1.5 hrs. and is as accurate as chem. analysis.
