Abstract: Cobalt chloride is a compound often utilized for the detection of moisture due to the distinctive color change it undergoes from blue to pink. It is particularly useful for packaging purposes where humidity control in the sealed spaces is crucial. In this work, we compute some K-Banhatti indices for cobalt chloride structure and derive its entropy measures from those indices. Also, we study the dependence of some degree-based indices of the structure and the entropy through linear regression and line-fitting methods. The findings reveal quite a number of important aspects regarding the structure of cobalt chloride which can be analyzed from the viewpoint of graph theory.
