Miscibility Studies of Poly(Styrene—со—Acrylonitrile) with Methyl Methacrylate Based Copolymers: Phase Behaviour and Interaction Parameters

Abstract: The compatibility of statistical styrene-acrylonitrile copolymers with methyl methacrylate-butyl methacrylate and methyl methacrylate-dodecyl methacrylate copolymers has been studied. It was confirmed that the miscibility in the system decreases with increasing size of the pendant alkyl group of the methacrylate in methyl methacrylate based copolymers.
