 Study of the hydrolysis of the C=N bond in 3-phenyliminoxindol

Abstract: The hydrolysis of the C = N bond in the molecules of 3-phenyliminoxindol has been investigated polarographically in the medium of 0.1 — 1 N-NaOH. The effect of the concentration of catalytic particles as well as the effect of temperature on the overall reaction rate has been studied. The final products of hydrolysis have been isolated and identified.
