Calculation of transport properties of cryolite melts

Abstract:  The isotherm of viscosity and electrical conductivity of molten binary systems is calculated as a function of overheating. The proposed model of calculation is applied in the systems having sodium cryolite, Na₃AlF₆, as one component. It is shown that the proposed model describes the transport behaviour of the cryolite melts very well.
