Abstract:  The efficiency of the d.с. arc excitation of AI, Ca, Fe, and Si in MgO-matrix was evaluated by comprehensive investigation. The evaporation proportionality of analytical elements and reference element was studied by means of evaporation correlation curves. The parameters of analytical curves and scatter diagrams were determined. On the basis of these results, the homology of spectral line pairs was evaluated by a series of tests.
