Viscometric characteristics of block copolymers

Abstract: The viscometric characterization of propylenestyrene block copolymer by the methods of Gundiah and Kapur (CA 57: 1028a) and S. N. Chinai (CA 51: 6279c) was examd. as a substitute for the abs. method for the detn. of polymer mol. wts. There was a big difference between the results of the two methods and that of the abs. method, and it is concluded that these two methods cannot be used to det. polymer mol. wts.
