Crystal structure of ternary oxides of alkali metals

Abstract: The crystal structures of ternary oxides of the type M⁺M³+O₂, where M⁺ included Li to Cs and M³⁺ is Al, Sc, Y, Ga, In, Tl, Au, Bi, etc., are discussed. A precise classification of a specific ternary oxide of the alkali metals is not feasible at present.
