Rapid method for the determination of benzene and cumene

Abstract: A rapid spectrophotometric method for detg. C₆H₆ and cumene is described. The concns. were detd. from the uv region of the absorption spectra in n-heptane soln. at 258, 260, and 268 mμ with the help of a calibration diagram.
