Complex organic oxo-compounds. XVIII. Macroscopically crystallizable heavy-metal tartrates

Abstract: cf. CA 62, 11405d. The crystn. capacity of some tartrates of heavy metals which would be suitable as single crystals for x-ray structural analysis is described. Na₅Mn(C₄H₂O₆)₂.11H₂O was chosen and subjected to anal., pycnometric, x-ray diffraction, and thermal and ir absorption spectrographic analyses.
