Nitrate group as a ligand in coperII-complex solutions

Abstract: The formation of nitrate-copper-II complexes and the existence of polynuclear copper-II complexes with nitrate groups as the bridge in acetone was established spectrophotometrically. In acetone systems, Cu(ClO₄)₂.6H₂O-LiNO₃, CuCl₂-LiNO₃, and Cu(NO₃)₂.3H₂O-LiNO₃, the ratio of [CuII] to [NO₃^-] was 3:8, 2:1, and 1:3.
