Abstract: cf. ibid. 15, 631-40(1961). At Lastovce, eastern Slovakia, in the deposits of bentonite, as much as 70% montmorillonite was found at a depth of 48 m. Montmorillonite is superior in its surface and rheologic properties, degree of dispersion, heat of hydration, swelling, and sorption of colors and cations.
