Abstract: cf. CA 55, 25813d. Expts. to increase the amt. of γ-isomer in BHC by applying solvents and catalysts, such as CHCl₃, CCl₄, perchloroethylene, trichloroethylene, p-nitrotoluene, chlorobenzenesulfonic acid, S, and the mixt. of α-isomer and β-isomer of BHC are described. Water emulsion of benzene was effective. An app. for tech. production is shown.
