Abstract: Elementary S is detd. by rapid cold extn. with fresh distd. CS₂ and Sb₂S₅ is indirectly detd. by decompn. at 290-300° into Sb₂S₃ and elementary S, which volatilizes and can be weighed to calc. the amt. of Sb₂S₅.
