The determination of β-glucuronidase in the juice of the stomach of the garden snail, Helix pomatia

Abstract: By a modified method of Talalaya, et al. (CA 41, 1719g) using 0.1 ml. of stomach juice with 0.5 ml. of phenolphthalein and glucuronide soln. in 1 ml. of stomach juice of H. pomatia approx. 130,000 units of β-glucuronidase was detd.
